The Gathering 2023: Celebration of dance culture, friendship, and pure love for the music.
Overview
On Saturday, June 10th 2023, hundreds of dance music lovers descended on the Meridian Showground in Cleethorpes for one of the most electric editions of The Gathering Fest yet. The sun was blazing, the vibes were high, and the beats didn’t stop from the first drop to the final encore. Café Mambo kicked things off with pure Ibiza energy - Mousse T., Lovely Laura & Ben Santiago, and Julie McKnight brought that Balearic sunshine, while Smokin Jo and K-Klass ft. Bobbi had the crowd grooving from the very start. Over on the Goodgreef Stage, legends like Paul Oakenfold, Scot Project, and Shugz delivered trance anthems that shook the ground. Maria Healy and Rob Tissera took things up another notch, keeping everyone’s hands in the air well into the night. The Clubland Classics Arena was a nostalgia trip for the ages. Darren Styles’s X-treme set was pure euphoria, while Ultrabeat feat. Siobhan, Flip n Fill, and Kelly Llorenna had every voice singing along to 2000s dance anthems. The arena was a sea of glowsticks and grins. In the Area 32 Future Stage, the harder sounds took over. David Rust, Mark EG, Wasted Penguinz, and Renegade System unleashed chaos in the best way possible - a full-on assault of bass, lasers, and energy that didn’t let up for a second. Finally, the VIP Garden Party was a vibe all its own. Rob Tissera led a sun-soaked session of house grooves alongside The Missus, Stu Magoo, and Marc Mackie Mackay - a perfect way to unwind and dance into the sunset. As the lights dimmed and the final beats faded, it was clear: The Gathering Fest 2023 wasn’t just a festival - it was a celebration of dance culture, friendship, and pure love for the music.
