About The
Gathering Fest


The Gathering Fest is a 5,000 capacity annual Dance Festival that takes place in Cleethorpes. 5 Arenas, Over 60 International DJs & Live Acts, Food & Stalls, VIP Arena, across 12 Hours.


GENERAL

1What are the opening times for the Main Festival
12pm – 11pm, Last Entry is 7pm
2Afterparties, tell me more
Unlike last year, as it stands, there won’t be any official afterparties in 2021.
3Can I leave the event site and then come back (i.e. are there pass-outs)?
There are no pass outs at Cleethorpes Gathering.
4How old do I need to be to attend and will I need ID?
You will need to be 18 or Older. We operate a challenge-21 policy upon Entry and at All Bars, if you look younger than 21, bring ID.
5Is there a Dress Code?
It’s a Festival, Go Wild!
6Will you be releasing the Set Times?
Set Times will be displayed at the Bars, but you can also purchase a Lanyard for £5, which includes Set Times, Site Map etc.
7Is It Cash or Card?
All Bars operate a Token System, you will need to purchase these via the Token Office (Payment via Cash/Card, we offer Cash Back), Food/Stalls/Fair is Cash.

TICKETS

1Can pay on the day?
Unless Sold Out... Yes, we’ll have tickets at the Box Office. Save a few quid by purchasing online.
2Can I upgrade my Standard Ticket to VIP?
Yes, but we only have limited Upgrades. Head to the Box Office on the day.. this will cost you £20 per upgrade.
3I have a General Ticket Question
Please contact the Ticket Outlet where you purchased your ticket from.
4Do I need to print my Tickets Out?
Yes you can, or you can save the PDF to your phone, or use the Skiddle App to download to your Wallet. #SaveTheTrees

DRINKS & FOOD

1Can I bring Food / Alcohol in with me?
Sadly not.. but we do have fully stocked Bars / Food Stalls.
2Alcohol / Drinks, tell me more.
We have Fully Stocked Bars selling all your favourites, priced similar to the local clubs. You will need to purchase Tokens to use at the Bars from the Token Booths.
3Drink Tokens, tell me more.
You purchase these to use at the Bars in strips of £10. You can buy these using Cash or Card.. please note; tokens are non-refundable.
4Which Drinks do you sell?
Beer / Cider / Mixed Fruit cider / Processco / Vodka / Gin / Whisky / Jager bombs / Tequilla / Soft Drinks / Energy Drink. VIP will also include: Cocktails & Premium Spirits.
5How much do drinks cost?
Drinks vary from £2 – £6 per drink. Soft Drinks £2, Beer/Cider/Wide £4 and Cocktails £6 (rough prices).

OTHER

1Are there any lockers for my valuables?
No sorry, but you may bring a draw-string bag with you (this will be searched)
2Can I bring a bag?
Yes, this will be searched upon entry.
3Will sets be recorded?
We will not be officially recording any sets, DJs may record their own sets though.
4Can we bring suncream with us?
Yes, no glass bottles.
5Do you have disabled facilities?
The Festival is on a flat field, with disabled toilets.
6Can we bring Perfume / Deodorant?
Glass Bottles / Aerosols are Banned. Roll On Deodorant is fine.
7Is there anywhere to charge my phone?
Sadly not, but we’re looking into this for next year.
8How far is the Thorpe Park Camp Site to the Festival?
5 Minute Walk.

Items Banned from the Festival:

– Aerosols (Inc: Deodorant, Air Horns)
– Alcohol
– Cameras (DSLR etc, Compact Cameras are fine!)
– Children Under 18 (Leave these with Nan)
– Illegal Drugs (Inc: Powders, Legal Highs, Poppers, Nitrous Oxide)
– Glass
– Umbrellas
– Selfie Sticks
– Flag Poles (Flags Okay!)
– Masks / Face Garments
– Explosives (Inc: Blowtorches, Flares / Smoke Bombs, Lantens)
– Firearms, Weapons, Sharps
